Direct Billing

We offer direct billing for most extended health plans including:
  • Alberta Blue Cross
  • Chamber of Commerce
  • CINUP
  • ClaimSecure
  • Desjardins
  • Equitable Life
  • First Canadian
  • Canada Life
  • Industrial Alliance
  • Johnson Group
  • Johnson Inc.
  • Manulife Financial
  • Maximum Benefit
  • TELUS Adjudicare
If you have one of these plans, you can input your plan information in our intake form when you book an appointment.

If your plan does not allow direct billing for dietitians, you will receive a receipt for your appointment that you can submit to your plan directly for reimbursement.

The following plans do not accept direct billing from dietitians: Group Health, Group Source, Manion, Manulife, Pacific Blue Cross and Sunlife.

How Does Direct Billing Work With Packages?

If your insurance company has a maximum amount allowable per visit, e.g. $150/visit, we issue insurance friendly receipts. For clients that book packages, we hold the balance of your package in your account as a “credit” that we use going forward to pay for your future visits and issue receipts as those visits take place.

Why Buy A Package?

The advantage of packages is that clients who buy big packages make a commitment and get better results with discounts for package purchases. The disadvantage is your credit card carries the package charge and you have to wait for each appointment to get reimbursed by your extended health pan for each visit separately.
